Preferred qualifications for Senior Software Engineers include:

• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• A solid foundation in computer science and computer architecture.
• Ability to quickly get comfortable in a challenging environment.
• Mastery of a variety of modern programming languages and open-source software.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience leading other developers.
• Established track record of top software engineering work.
• Familiarity with storage technologies a plus.
• Familiarity with the Linux kernel and driver model a plus.
• Familiarity with networked and cluster file systems a plus.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a firm sense of good architecture/design and a lean software development process.
