Efficient and thorough testing is required to produce DataDirect's industry-leading products. The right engineer for the job will not only code tests, but will also architect the test harnesses.

DataDirect Networks is the leading provider of high performance storage solutions for supercomputer clusters. We're expanding our product portfolio and need to quickly form a team to aggressively build new products that can leverage our high customer penetration.

You will be a large part of a small team and will be involved at each stage of product development. Additional responsibilities will include automating development processes and integrating testing within them.

Preferred qualifications for Software Engineers in Test include:

• Prior history of combining disparate tools and systems to execute complex tests allowing delivery of a high-quality product. (Specific, detailed examples should be included with resume.)
• A solid foundation in computer science concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one integration language such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Broad understanding of and history using open source tools.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proficiency in C is desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with storage technologies is desirable but not required.
