Position Summary:

DataDirect Networks, with Corporate offices in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Vice President of Government Sales to be located in Columbia, Maryland. The position will have overall responsibility for all Government Sales and Programs.

Responsibilities include:

The Vice President of Government Sales will have overall responsibility for Government Sales and Programs, including obtaining DoE and DoD facility clearances. The responsibility will include the management of the current Sales staff plus the addition of at least five sales people. The main focus of the position will be to introduce DataDirect into the DoE Labs, the DoD facilities and the large systems integrators. A clearance would be preferable.

The ideal candidate will come from a Storage environment, have a minimum of 10 years experience in the Government Sales industry, will have managed a successful sales staff and have the ability to hire qualified and successful sales people.
