Summary of the position functions:
DataDirect Networks is seeking an experienced inside sales support individual to support the US and International Sales Teams.
As a member of the US and International Sales Team, the Inside Sales
Support function works closely with the sales members by generating
sales quotations, receiving and inputting into the system the Purchase
Orders, receiving and responding to pre-installation customer
inquiries, monitoring the flow of the purchase orders through meetings
with Operations, working with Customer Service, Finance and Marketing.
While the position has administrative requirements, it also offers
commission-based opportunities to respond to leads and develop new
prospects as well as interact with current customers to increase sales
for equipment, parts, and service agreements.
This position will work under immediate supervision during the training
period and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines. After
the training period, the position will rely on independent judgment
while continuing to follow pre-established guidelines. Even though the
position has a reporting structure, instructions and requests will come
from all sales members.
The Inside Sales Support representative must be a highly articulate,
professional, and a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced
environment and can multi-task.
Ideal experience would include previous inside sales support in
technology, specific to disk storage (RAID, SCSI, HBAs, etc. Must have
Word, Excel and Access experience.
