We are looking for a high energy individual who can design and maintain our Corporate I.T. infrastructure to support the growing needs of company. This position reports to the V.P. of Information Technology and is part of the overall I.T. organization. The position is full time and located at DataDirect Network's headquarters in Chatsworth, CA.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Design and support of corporate mail & messaging environment
- Design and support Local and Wide Area Networks.
- Execute full IT life cycle projects. (From requirements to post implementation support)
- Manage a multi-platform server environment.
Required Skills:
- Extremely process and detail oriented.
- Excellent people skills - must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- 5 years experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SMTP
- Ability to Install, Configure and Maintain networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and VPN
- Experienced with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WINS.
- Experienced with network management tools (e.g. Sniffers, Ethereal, MRTG)
- Multi-site I.T. experience required
- Unix/Linux system administration is a plus
- Ability to work in a strong team oriented environment, where communication skill and documenting information is highly valued.
- Experienced with Live Communication Server a plus
